Hey, sorry I've not been around but life is moving a bit quick these days. I'm in NEW YORK with Sophie. It's mad here, we're in love and there's a giant fucking tree. Hope everyone is well!

 I'm in love. In actual love and it's brilliant and cozy and warm and perfect. I am a little drunk but not really.  Sophie is amazing and I want to have her kids, or I want her to have our kids. Sorry I haven't been around lately but Sophie doesn't like me wasting my time online. Is anyone else as happy as me right now? I want to give everyone a hug. So start lining up

 It's been a really long time since my last post! Things have just been going a bit faster than usual, you know? So I've been applying loads and going to interviews so far nothing yet , but I'm ttly positive about the whole thing. I've been talking to this girl Sophie a lot. I knew her in Uni but we weren't really. mates. Anyway she's pretty together. She's a solicitor and like owns a house and everything. She's got me reading these books about like the power of thought and that. Like thinking can connect you to your one true being and you can integrate your two souls and achieve whatever you want. I don't understand all of it bit it's dead interesting. She's a Christian though. Is that weird? Would it be weird to date a Christian, like a proper Christian? 

Anyway that's about all that's been going on here at Preston Towers. 


P.S. If anyone sees like any job notices can you pass them on? I'm trying for everything.

 Been pretty quiet around here. Not much going on. Is it alright to still like McDonalds when you're not ten and you know it's all made of out of pork anus and medical waste? It's still good. I don't even care. I just ate about 60 chicken mcnuggets. Might have to go purge. Hope everyone has a good week. 

 I've decided I'm going to try and be more positive from now on. 'Cos like if you only do and say good things, then only good things can happen to you. So I'm not gonna worry about recession and that because it's all just like numbers inside a computer and nothing has really changed. I just got new high-lights and I live in the best city in world, life is still good.  Anyone read The Secret? 


p.s. People at the Scientology centre are dead nice. I feel quite bad about throwing their pamphlets out.

Second interview wasn't so much an interview as a way to tell me to my face their not giving me the job. So apparently they liked my enthusiasm for the work but maintain that I'm over qualified to be a researcher and should apply for a more senior position. Which is good news, I think, but I still don't have a job prospect.  The female interviewer had a weird shaped face, it was like perfectly square. Really bothered me.


ALSO I got my notice at Place. I will officially be redundant on October 30th. 


I think I may need some new interviewing clothes. Like a pink blazer or something....to stand out among other candidates. Or like a bow tie. Both maybe. I'll have to think about it some more.

 Friday night and I'm at home. It's so boring! How do ugly people do it? joking.

 I haven't been great at posting lately. I haven't really felt up to it. There's a lot of hushed talking going on at PLace lately. I don't know if anyone knows this yet, but Doug Rocket is going to have to declare insolvency any day now and they're downsizing staff at PLace. So I could be out of a job soon. They've already begun dismantling the office fixtures. They even hauled Space Invaders out of the staff common area. It's starting to look like a regular old office, like from sitcom or something. Anyway I'm really worried about it 'cos I haven't really been saving like I should or anything. 

Dan, Claire, Jones; I don't want you to worry about the squat. Rocket's assets are so messed up it could take years of arbitration to sort them out.  So don't get upset about it or anything.

I'm gonna be starting out at the Nailgun around 21:00 on the 23rd, but who knows after that. Meet there if you want to come out with me. Nathan's got some stuff planned I think. Don't know quite what spots we're gonna hit up. Hopefully as many as we can.

My sister had her baby. I just got the call from my Dad, he seems chuffed. I'm quite excited about it too I think! It was a boy. They wanted it to be a surprise. So his name's Lewis William Clark. I don't like it to be honest, but it's Jeremy's grandfather's name I think. I thought Kate wanted the middle name to be Preston, but I guess not... So that's all really. I'll put up a picture I think once they send me one and I'll probably be going to Kent later in the week to see the baby and that.

...Well how was everyone else's week?

I'm staying with my sister and her husband Jeremy until sunday night. They have guest towels! Can't believe that there are people my age who own guest towels... I feel well old today. I don't know what I'm going to do if Jeremy tries to talk to me about investments again tonight...




And they're having a right go at me about my clothes... just 'cos I don't even OWN a bloody navy blue suit. When that baby is born I'm going to the christening dressed like this

Had a hell of a night...

Nathan brought me to a launch party for some new record label....called something like, wait i'll check the flyer...

Called "Still-born Stir-fry". It was good for a bit, there was a free bar and loads of girls, all lezzers tho' I think xp I dunno none of them seemed that interested and I was wearing my zippered jacket an' all. Then I lost my sunglasses in the toilet, it was soo dark I had to take them off to see the urinal, then they were gone. Work tomorrow, again.






I think I have to pick these up later in the week... yay or nay?

Work was quite stressful today, I kept losing my mug.
